First lawn-signs up!

The Preserve Thornhill Woods Association official sign crew was at work this morning putting up signs throughout Thornhill Woods and The Valley. I think we got through about 40% of the families that had registered for a sign. If you requested a sign but you don’t see one on your lawn, please be patient. We will get to you over the next few days.

It is very important that you display your sign on the private portion of your lawn. This is usually the front part of your property between the water shutoff valve (on your driveway or lawn) and the front of your house. If you place the sign on the boulevard close to your curb, the city may remove the sign without your authorization. Placing the sign close to your house means that anyone who tries to remove the sign will be trespassing.

With two elections now underway in Ontario (Provincial and Municipal), now is an ideal time to send a strong message to the candidates who will be canvasing in our neighbourhood. The residents of Thornhill Woods do not want high rise development in our community.

Its not too late to request a sign for your own lawn.
