City of Vaughan Delaying Vote on Jaffari Application Until 2015

The City of Vaughan Planning Department has written an in-depth progress report on the Jaffari Development application and is recommending that council extend the working group sessions until January 2015 in order to allow further progress to be made.

The report is available at the aforementioned link and we are encouraging everyone to read this report, consider the proposed changes and to provide feedback. This is your community and we want to hear what you think.

The City has also confirmed that they will table this report during the Committee of the Whole Public hearing on September 2, 2014 at 11:00 am at Vaughan City Hall (Committee Rooms 242/243). They are inviting everyone from the community to attend this session and they will receive public deputations. This is your last opportunity before the election to make a public deputation on the proposed development and we urgently need the community’s attendance at this meeting.
